What kind of mask are you making?
We're developing a Level 1 Procedural Mask designed to filter bacteria, sub-micron particulates, and resist penetration by blood.
Does the mask meet safety standards?
Our masks are tested against the international safety standards set by the AATCC, ISO and ASTM.
Who can use your design?
Anyone and everyone! Our design will be open source so that it is freely and easily accessible for anybody who needs it.
Why is a reusable mask important?
A reusable mask is a cost effective solution to the current shortage of PPE. This is especially important for residents and healthcare workers in the community who suffer the most from a lack of PPE.
